We are looking for Prayer Partners for our upcoming study, as well as Prayer Warriors to pray for 40 Days of Life in the Hagerstown area from 9/24-11/2.

Forgiven and Set Free Bible Study:

If you have an abortion in your past, you may be experiencing post-abortion syndrome: anger, shame, grief, regret, denial, or fear of punishment from God to name a few symptoms. There is help and Hope for your future.

A Bible study for post-abortive women seeking healing and reconciliation with God will begin Tuesday, September 9 th. The 11-week study will be from 6:30-8:30 p.m. and will run until Tuesday, November 18 th. Deadline to sign up is August 17 th. A required individual interview must be done by August 20 th.

Since the year 2000, there have been approximately 1.33 million abortions each year. An Average of almost 70% of those abortions have been on women who proclaim to be Christians, both Protestant and Catholic. That makes 920,000 girls who knew the Gospel, who knew it was a baby, who chose the clinic over whomever they were afraid of facing…..920,000 babies who could have been raised in the church by birth parents or by adoptive parents. This number does not include the amount of chemical abortions taking place every day in Both clinics and your local OB/GYN offices.

The Crisis Pregnancy Centers are doing a great job. They are reaching and helping the women and ladies in their communities, and their abortion statistics are going down. Among women in our churches, however, the number of abortions is increasing. As much as that hurts, the statistics show it is true. Unless we accept, love, and allow these girls to come to us in the midst of their sin, the “church girls” abortion numbers will continue to rise. If the Lord leads you to reach out to these girls, we can work together to save 920,000 babies this year.

In Scripture God promises us His mercy, compassion,
and love when we confess our sin. He is faithful and just, and will
purify us from our unrighteousness. When we fear Him, He will
not treat us as our sins deserve, but will remove our transgressions
from us, restore us, and bring joy to our souls. If our God will do
that for our girls, young women, and men who find themselves in
sin, or for those whose sin is in their past, who are we to think
that those same things don’t apply to us? We are to be merciful,
compassionate, gracious, loving, forgiving, moving on with new
hope.

Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.
